The confirmation news that sent everyone into a fashion frenzy - H&M's next designer collaboration will be with Lanvin!



The collection will be designed by Lanvin’s artistic director Alber Elbaz, and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver. Mark down this date as the collection will go on sale on November 23 in around 200 H&M stores worldwide. In Alber Elbaz's words: "What intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public."

According to Thierry Andretta, Lanvin's Executive Vice-President: "We are so excited to have found our perfect home in New York, which really corresponds to the philosophy that we have in Paris when we opened our couture house in 1889."

I had an extremely bad day yesterday and these images brought a smile to my face! Fashion designers personified by Disney cartoon characters. Disney cartoonist Ulrich Schroder has ingeniously turned the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Stefano Gabbana & Domenico Dolce, John Galliano, Donatella Versace, John Paul Gaultier, Sonia & Nathalie Rykiel and Alber Elbaz into classic Disney characters for the April 2010 issue of Elle Spain.
