The 18-year old friendship between Madonna and the designers (Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce) behind label Dolce & Gabbana has set course for the pop queen to front their Spring/Summer 2010 advertising campaign. Madonna will be featured in various poses of Italian domesticity and such moments will be captured by famed photographer, Steven Klein.
“The collection is very Italian, very Sicilian,” said Gabbana. “It’s a return to our roots with a modern angle, so we asked Madonna to interpret it in a different and human way. We believe that people are ready for a new message.” - WWD
